Guardian International School (GIS) established in 2012, is the brain – child of Guardian Foundation, founded by three illustrious Alumni of NIT, Calicut – Paul.N.Jacob (Mechanical Engineer), Krishnan Vijayaraj (Electrical Engineer) and Sarto Rajendran (Civil Engineer).

All the three have had a brilliant professional career and have also been successful Entrepreneurs and Managers as well. While at NIT, Paul N Jacob was the Fine Arts Secretary and Basket Ball player. Vijayaraj was the Chairman of college Students Union, Captain of college Hockey Team and a member of the Calicut University Hockey Team. Sarto was the Captain of Calicut University Hockey and Kho-Kho Teams apart from being a member of the Kerala State Hockey Team. Sarto was also adjudged Best All-round Sportsman of NIT.
